KAZU, iconica cantante dei Blonde Redhead (seminale indie-rock band di New York, composta da Kazu Makino e dai gemelli italiani Amedeo e Simone Pace), dopo aver pubblicato ‘Salty’ e ‘Meo’, i primi due singoli ad anticipazione di ‘Adult Baby’, il debutto solista in arrivo il 13 settembre, annuncia oggi il primo tour in solo in America ed Europa, accompagnata sul palco da Ian Chang (batteria, elettronica) e Sam Evian (chitarre).
Il disco è inoltre la prima pubblicazione di Adult Baby Records, l’etichetta fondata da Kazu Makino dedida alla sperimentazione ed alla libertà d’espressione (distribuzione: !K7).
‘Adult Baby’ non è solo un disco, è un Visual Album Film, anticipato dal trailer che ha accompagnato la pubblicazione di ‘Meo’, il secondo singolo estratto, a fine giugno.

Il film di ‘Adult Baby’ è stato concepito e realizzato all’isola d’Elba, dove KAZU ha deciso di trascorrere parte della sua vita, mentre il disco è stato registrato tra New York, Berlino e Milano, con la collaborazione di musicisti del calibro di Ryuichi Sakamoto, Mauro Refosco, Ian Chang e Sam Griffin Owens. Kazu ha inoltre partecipato attivamente alla produzione di ‘Adult Baby’.
