Tre anni dopo il disco solista ‘Hamburg Demonstrations’ torna Peter Doherty con i The Puta Madres e il nuovo album omonimo, appunto ‘Peter Doherty & The Puta Madres’.

L’album è stato registrato da Peter Doherty e la sua nuova band in quattro giorni in un piccolo villaggio in Normandia e mixato agli Urchin Studio di Londra. Il disco è stato prodotto da Jai Stanley con l’aiuto di Dan Cox (Thurston Moore e Florence + The Machine).
Peter Doherty & the Puta Madres suoneranno dal vivo in Italia il 23 luglio a Cesena, alla Rocca Malatestiana per la rassegna Acieloaperto.
Peter Doherty, ovvero il più noto bad boy della scena rock anglosassone degli ultimi anni, ha appena compiuto 40 anni e questo sembra essere il disco della piena maturità artistica, capace di migliorare le già ottime prove da solista e insieme a The Libertines e Babyshambles.
