A causa dell’attuale emergenza sanitaria, RADAR Concerti comunica il rinvio dei due concerti italiani dei GIANT ROOKS. I biglietti già acquistati rimarranno validi per le nuove date. La band torna in Italia dopo aver conquistato le classifiche e i palchi di mezza Europa per presentare l’attesissimo debut album ROOKERY, in uscita il 28 agosto. Appuntamento il 1° aprile 2021 al Locomotiv di Bologna e il 2 aprile al Circolo Magnolia di Milano.
20enni in TOP 20, i Giant Rooks hanno dalla loro un’inarrestabile e libera esuberanza, unita alla carica e alla potenza di un songwriting raffinato e irresistibile che li ha portati, nel giro di pochissimo, ad essere i rappresentanti di una nuova giovanissima generazione di talenti. Una consapevole fede in sé stessi che va in controtendenza col cliché per cui da giovani si debba essere a tutti i costi insoddisfatti, “arrabbiati” e anaffettivi. I Giant Rooks, invece, sono pieni di buone vibrazioni: con il debut EP Wild Stare e il singolo omonimo, la band ha dimostrato una personalità musicale forte, incalzante, preziosa, di cui innamorarsi fin dal primo ascolto.
Il 28 agosto uscirà il debut album ROOKERY, anticipato dagli ultimi singoli Watershed e What I Know Is All Quicksand: “we’ve been thinking about this album since we started this whole thing back in 2015. From the beginning we wanted to really figure out who we were as a band before releasing our debut album. On this journey we have released three EPs, played over 350 shows,and shaped our ideas of what has become ROOKERY”
