Dopo aver sconvolto le classifiche di ogni parte del mondo con la super hit “Let Her Go”, aggiudicandosi un Independent Music Award, una nomination ai Brit Awards come singolo dell’anno, un’apparizione ai Superbowl, il vincitore dell’Ivor Novello è tornato sulle scene musicali con “Young As The Morning Old As The Sea”, il nuovo album pubblicato il 23 settembre 2016 da Cooking Vinyl/Edel e subito volato in cima alle Album Charts in UK, Australia, Svizzera e Nuova Zelanda, battendo ogni record di vendita nella stessa settimana in cui è uscito anche il nuovo di Bruce Springsteen!
Co-prodotto dal collaboratore di lunga data Chris Vallejo (INXS, Empire Of The Sun), il disco è stato registrato ai Roundhead Studios in Auckland ed ai Linear Studios a Sydney. Scritto dallo stesso Mike Rosenberg, insieme a Ben Edgar (chitarra), Rob Clader (basso), Peter Marin (batteria) e Jon solo (tastiere), il nuovo lavoro ripropone le sonorità che sono da anni il tratto distintivo di Passenger: ballad allegre che non possono non rimanere in testa, arricchite dall’umiltà e dalla genuinità che da sempre contraddistingue Mike Rosenberg.
